Trinity brings many years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a background in higher levels of care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services. She specializes in working with children, teens and adults with various eating disorders, including Avoidant Restrictive Food intake disorder (ARFID). Trinity prides herself in providing compassionate nutrition counseling, meal coaching, and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Trinity spearheaded the ARFID programming at her previous clinic and trained clinicians on providing neurodivergent and sensory-friendly approaches when treating ARFID. She blends her easy going and warm personality with a nonjudgemental and trauma informed approach. She also believes that nutrition counseling needs to include a mind-body approach and meets people where they are at.
Trinity is passionate about working with folks burnt out with dieting, diet culture, and those who feel dismissed by other medical providers. With her experience working in the hospital setting, Trinity utilizes research and demonstrates curiosity toward client situations, looking at all parts of the person, not just what is on paper. Integrating humor, fun, and warmth, Trinity utilizes a Health at Every Size (H@ES) approach to address disordered eating, eating disorders, metabolic disorders, gastrointestinal conditions and other nutrition concerns and conditions. Her goal for her clients is to rebuild a better relationship with food and movement, where health does not necessarily have to look like cutting out major food groups and quieting the joy around food.
Trinity continues to learn alongside other professionals by participating in individual and group case consultation and supervision, as well as various continuing education trainings. She gives back to the profession by guest lecturing at local universities, teaching students about eating disorders and empowering future RDNs.
